Concept were approached to design and manufacture a new bar as part of the extensive refurbishment of London's famous Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park. Part of the package. The backbar features custom wooden-clad back bar refrigeration, made to the client's exact requirements.
HOME HOUSE, LONDON
Concept have recently completed another bar for the famous Home House in London. Working this time with renowned designers Candy & Candy, the decorative cocktail bar, complete with custom refrigeration is the second by Concept for this iconic members club.
CIRCUS, LONDON
Concept designed, manufactured and installed the stainless steel underbars for Circus, the latest incarnation of the 19th Century former Royal Opera House stables.Working with director Adam Davies (son of restaurateur Trevor Davies), Concept designed a flagship cocktail bar for this £2m venue. The cocktail list is provided by long-time associate, Henry Besant.
RED BULL HQ, LONDON
Working alongside the client’s appointed drinks consultant, Concept designed, manufactured and installed a custom underbar system. Specialist features include a can crushing facility, a unique self-lowering/raising ice well and an energy efficient sink design.
CALLOOH CALLAY, LONDON
Concept manufactured and installed a fully bespoke stainless steel undercounter to ‘The Jubjub Bar’ at Callooh Callay, a well-known London cocktail bar. The bar also features custom refrigerated drawers, tailored to their specific needs.
PROUD, MINSTER COURT
Concept were contacted by Alex Proud to manufacture and install a 10m long stainless steel underbar in under 2 weeks for the new Camden venue of the Proud brand which runs alongside Proud Central, Europe’s best rock photography gallery, and Proud Cabaret, their 1920s speakeasy themed jazz/burlesque entertainment destination. Concept delivered on time and within budget.
CHINAWHITE, LONDON
Concept worked with renowned club owner John Stephen to manufacture and install stainless steel underbar equipment and bespoke champagne refrigeration for the renovation of one of London’s most famous late night venues, Chinawhite. The venue reopened in November, with its Oriental themed design receiving much coverage in the press. The mirrored gold upright champagne fridges, supplied by Concept are a prominent feature of the venue’s VIP bar.
CITY INN, LEEDS
Concept have just completed two new bars for the latest City Inns development in Leeds. The 2 bars, situated on the ground floor and 13th floor have been fully designed by Concept. The ground floor bar features an all-marble top and front. The 13th floor island bar features a marble top with a striking back lit red glass front, bespoke refrigeration and ceiling suspended bottle display. Pictures can be viewed in our Projects section.
JAMIE'S ITALIAN, CANARY WHARF
Mid-July saw the opening of the a new restaurant for award winning chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver. Concept designed and supplied bespoke stainless steel and also bespoke refrigeration for the latest addition to the ever-growing Jamie's Italian chain.
21 HOME HOUSE, LONDON
Working with renowned designers Zaha Hadid, Concept realised a truly one-off bar for 21 Home House, the new private members club situated in this listed building. The venue has received a massive amount of press coverage with the ultra-modern bar as its centrepiece.
MOVIDA, LONDON
Concept recently designed and installed 4 new bars as part of the £2.5m complete refurbishment of the multi-award winning London club. Featuring areas such as the Dom Perignon and Grey Goose VIP Room, the recent refurbishment has further established Movida as one of London's best clubs.
ALFRED DUNHILL, LONDON
Concept designed, manufactured and installed 3 bespoke bars at the new Alfred Dunhill venue at Bourdon House, the Duke of Westminster's former residence. Encompassing a store, restaurant and private members bar, Bourdon House is the new home of the world-famous clothing and accessory brand.
MOLTON HOUSE, LONDON
Concept recently installed bespoke stainless steel bar equipment at Molton House, a new members lounge and restaurant in a converted 5-storey Georgian townhouse in London’s South Molton Street. Nick Valentine, co-founder of London’s celebrated The Cuckoo Club (bars also by Concept), has created Molton House, which features cocktail bars, a restaurant, private dining and a club – all under one roof.
THE DOUBLE CLUB, LONDON
The Double Club is a new restaurant/nightclub situated in a Victorian warehouse complex in London EC1. The brainchild of artist Carsten Höller in collaboration with Fondazione Prada, The Double Club is part installation, part venue that will be open to the public for a transient term of six months and offer both Western and Congolese hospitality.
CROWNE PLAZA, MANCHESTER
Located right in the heart of Manchester on the edge of the captivating nightlife and excellent entertainment area including the trendy Northern Quarter – the hotel combines the edgy modern design of the building with contemporary luxury facilities.
LE METRO BRASSERIE, HALIFAX
Working with local property developer Tyler Projects, concept consulted, designed and manufactured a full back of house bar and wine display for their new café bar & brasserie situated within Halifax centrepiece Somerset House. Concept also designed and built a custom overhead glasses rail with decorative glass shelving to complement the bar.
DEL AZIZ, BERMONDSEY
Discovered during refurbishment, the London Wall is now a prominent feature of Del Aziz Bermondsey for which a completely bespoke bar was commissioned. Working with Shaun Clarkson ID, Concept designed a stainless steel underbar and bar framework to sit on a strengthened glass floor overlooking this amazing 2nd century relic.
CAVIAR HOUSE, DUBLIN AIRPORT
Concept working for global foodservice brand SSP, designed and manufactured the fish restaurant island bar for Caviar House in Dublin Airport. The bar is completely bespoke with extensive use of solid surface materials to give the bar a look that is both unique but in keeping with the décor of the venue.
EPERNAY, MANCHESTER
Building on the success of their Leeds venue, Epernay appointed Concept once again to provide custom stainless steel bar systems for their new Manchester venue. Working closely with long-term associates Andy Thornton, Concept designed and manufactured high specification stainless steel undercounters for the ground floor and first floor bars, along with purpose-built glasswash equipment. Backbar refrigeration completed the package.
NEC ARENA, BIRMINGHAM
Concept were contracted to design and build bespoke stainless steel undercounters for three bars in the first phase of the NEC's extensive expansion programme. The main bar features multiple beer dispense units for which Concept designed the bespoke housings.
ONE ALDWYCH, LONDON
Concept were commissioned to fully redesign and refit the bar equipment for the award-winning Covent Garden hotel, One Aldwych. Concept designed and built a completely bespoke, curved, seamless bar system and custom backbar refrigeration with mirror polished steel doors. Working under challenging conditions Concept completed the works as part of the iconic hotel's recent refurbishment.
WINDLESHAM GOLF CLUB
Concept produced a 'turnkey' bar for Windlesham Golf Club as part of the venue's refurbishment. Concept fully designed and fitted out the custom design bar. The bar features stunning polished dar granite worktop with dark stained wood veneer cladding. Behind the bar is a Concept bespoke stainless steel undercounter and full height backfitting display. Backbar coolers and glasswashing equipment were also supplied by Concept.
AQUUM, CLAPHAM
Concept were approached to design and manufacture bars for Aquum, the latest addition to Clapham's social scene, which has gained a massive reputation. Working with designers GMP, Concept designed and manufactured bespoke underbar equipment for Aquum's three bars, as well as supply refrigeration, ice makers and glasswash equipment.
BANNATYNE SPA HOTEL, HASTINGS
Concept were commissioned to design and manufacture a bespoke stainless steel underbar for 'Dragon' Duncan Bannatyne's latest project, working with design agency Scurr & Partners the bar is set within the new conservatory expansion overlooking the estate's gardens.
MATTER @ THE O2
Concept designed, manufactured and installed bespoke bars for Matter, the new club within The O2 (Millenium Dome) in Greenwich. Owned by London's iconic Fabric nightclub, the 2,600 capacity venue features four completely bespoke bars with decorative specialist concrete finishes.
MERKABA @ MYHOTEL, BRIGHTON
Concept designed, manufactured and installed a bespoke bar that incorporates a custom lower backfitting featuring integrated, custom designed honeycomb-style wine storage. The bar also features flagship coolers with matching stainless steel cupboards.

Concept were approached by Stolichnaya to provide the bars and equipment for the flagship bar in this venue that opened prior to the year end.

Further projects completed at the Riverside adjacent to the Royal Festival Hall include: PING PONG The fast expanding Dim Sum chain where we provided two bars and all equipment. CANTEEN The new venue for the already award winning London eatery, where again we supplied the bar. SKYLON D & D Restaurants (formerly Conran Restaurants) new fabulous Restaurant is wonderfully located within the Festival Hall facing directly onto the Thames and designed by Conran. Concept supplied the Island Bar in conjunction with Vivid Interiors.

Concept were appointed as bar consultants to design the operational aspects and equipment specification for all of the bars and associated back of house areas within London’s £70million pound refit of the country's most famous Landmark Theatre complex working with leading architects Allies and Morrison.
RADISSON HOTELS
Concept were appointed as bar consultants to oversee a stunning new bar/restaurant and conference hall at the Park Inn at Heathrow, London. Concept were appointed as design and build contractors for both bars at the 800 room Hotel, to provide a full glass, marble and steel main island bar and a Function Bar together with all fittings and associated equipment, working to the designs of Aukett Fitzroy Robinson and under the Main Contractors Skanska, who were responsible for the £12 million refurbishment of the whole hotel.
